Reasons to Buy
- This is a very early work from beloved gay filmmaker Todd Haynes - who went on to make Safe, Velvet Goldmine, Far from Heaven, I'm Not There, and the HBO miniseries "Mildred Pierce."
- Highly controversial at the time of its release, Poison was one of the films to launch the "New Queer Cinema" movement of the '90s.
- Though it's strange, fragmented nature won't please all audiences, this is still an absolute must-see! If you're a gay film fanatic who has not seen Poison, you haven't really done your homework.
