Whether all these guys will qualify for you as "bears" depends on your definition--not all of them are hairy, not all are beefy. "Daddies" would fit better, though I guess "American Daddies" would create expectations of 'boys,' of whom there are none to be seen. But macho, macho men they definitely all are, and have a grand time together they definitely do, with a certain amount of friendly slapping and spitting but also friendly grins and even a bit of manly giggling together. Seeing Joe Sarge, one of my favorite daddies, is a treat--I've liked him a lot in his performances for a couple of Joe Gage videos, in which he speaks nary a word, but here he turns out to have a quite satisfactory line of sexy chatter, and in fact several of the guys are quite good at masculine-type love talk and don't fall back on the dreaded "Fuck yeah!" routine. It all seems spontaneous, the enjoyment seems quite sincere, and if you like watching manly-men having it off together, well, this is the kind of thing you like. This is among the select group of gay porn videos for which the music at the beginning and/or the end, as the credits roll, is a Sousa march--there are several other Barresi films and also a few Gage films in the batch, the march for the video currently in question being the "Washington Post." But don't try having sex with Sousa marches playing in the background. It doesn't work. Don't ask me how I know, I just know. Barresi comes through for me again, with low-budget fun that makes up for a lack of 'production values' with the presence of everything that really counts in a porn video.
