Other Side of Aspen 1, The

1978. Skinny guys in their mid-to-late 20s, with ripped abs, big hair, mustaches (sometimes) and big thick dicks, vigorously sucking and fucking--it would become the standard type for Falcon in the 1980s, but these guys in particular were, and are still, among the hottest of their crew. Also, speaking from a historical point of view: no condoms, and a chance to see some porn stars who have become legends (Al Parker, Casey Donovan). The ski lodge where it was filmed had a balcony, which gave the director/photographer opportunity for many great overhead shots, of four or five players sucking and fucking at a time. This was a big-budget film for Falcon, which at the time was making mostly 'loops': ten minute scenes, some of them now available as collected on various DVDs. In this 'feature' film, the loops are hooked together through the device of their representing a skiing instructor's memories of voyeuristic good times in Aspen. All dialogue is dubbed, and it's technically primitive by today's standards, but good (i.e. hot) enough, even after all these years, that you don't have to be making allowances for the limitations. The film was popular enough to start a franchise--though the only thing the later films have in common with this first one is that they all take place in Aspen. Definitely for any serious collection, and if you like the body type, you'll get what you came for.
