This video immediately fulfills the expectations that the title raises, by starring Rick Donovan in its first two scenes. Better-hung (if not necessarily "better") porn stars have appeared since the 1980s, but Rick is certainly in the Hall of Fame in that respect. The first half of this video gives us a good chance to experience his merits, opening with a solo scene in which Rick plays with himself in front of a mirror. As with many men his size, Rick's erections were temperamental and you never see them 'stand alone,' but Rick's rushin' fingers and roamin' hands move around fast enough that you get an excellent idea of what's there. The second scene is a teacher-student encounter in the classroom, one of my very favorite situations, and this is one of my very favorite versions of it. As the notes above point out, "Matt Ramsey" also appeared as straight porn star Peter North, but unlike some gay-for-pay models, Matt demonstrated believable enthusiasm in his scenes with men. See my review of "Cousins," where he's convincing as someone just coming out, a situation which would explain his somewhat reserved attitude during sex. In this scene, on the other hand, we see Ramsey throw all reserve to the winds, as you would too if you had Rick's thing inside you--no evidence of Rick's having any trouble keeping it hard in this scene. It's even fun to imagine Matt as a straight man who, once Rick is in the middle of giving him a vigorous fucking, must be thinking "What have I gotten myself into?!?!" Matt ends up depositing a generous load of spooge on one of the desks, and then another at the end of the scene. Matt's presence continues into the third scene, in which he and a student do a workout together. That scene is also quite hot, with the teacher-student aka daddy-boy dynamic well displayed, and also featuring another spectacular squirt from Matt. The next scene is unexpectedly tender (if the repeated exhortation from both sides to "Eat it" doesn't disqualify it in that respect), with two friends (Mike, not Matt, Ramsey and Buster), after a night on the town in an ultimately unsuccessful search for girls, ending up in bed with each other. Finally there's an extended sequence in a men's room (did men's rooms at colleges have stalls equipped with glory holes?) with six men involved at one point or another, some of them getting quite naked in the process. Matt Sterling was one of the great porn directors at Falcon in the 1980s, though his videos often appeared as by "Bill Clayton," the generic name that Falcon used for all director's credits. This is one of his best, hallowed in the memories of gay men of that generation and definitely a classic. (See "Spring Break" for another Matt Sterling favorite of mine.)
