Joe Gage Sex Files 4: Blue Collar Blast

After fifteen years of doing other things, Joe Gage returned to the making of gay porn videos in 2001, beginning with a couple of 'warm-up' videos in 2001 and 2002. Then he made, for Titan, in 2003-2004, the first four of his "Sex Files" videos. (Numbers 5 through 24 he made for Dragon Media in 2010-2017.) If you've begun your acquaintance with Joe's films by watching the videos of what I call his 'golden period' (2004-2009), the "Sex Files" videos may seem less well-crafted by comparison--they're certainly on a lower budget. But the hotness is sometimes cum-parable with that of Gage's greatest, and the first half, at least, of the video in question is hot indeed. The premise is that one of the crowd is under house arrest with an ankle monitor, and his friends come over to cheer him up by getting completely naked, comparing cock sizes, sucking each other off, and (limited) rimming and fucking. The pretense is that they're all 'blue-collar' and straight identified, which I didn't believe for a New York minute (at one point somebody says 'Too bad there aren't any girls here,' to which one can respond only with an eye-roll and 'Yeah, right'), but they're all good-looking guys with long dicks, and what's not to like about seeing a bunch of good-looking guys with long dicks messing around with each other in a relaxed way in someone's living room? The second half is not quite as good; Tommy DeLuca's truly impressive endowment is not displayed to best effect--for that you'll have to go to Joe Gage's later video, "Dad Goes to College," (2011); and in the final scene Nick Capra and his buddies do some pretty sorry 'acting' before getting down. Also, the camerawork in the second half is not as skillful or inventive as in the first half. But if you're not looking for plot or a plausible situation, not in a hurry to cum, and you're interested in guys who are rather younger (mid-twenties to early thirties) than Joe's typical later guys, the first hour, at least, will please.
