Paging Dr. Finger

I'm giving "Paging Dr. Finger" a higher score than DPN2009 did; it may not be the very best of Scarborough's medical-themed videos (that would be "Dr. Good Glove," see my review) but it's far from being the worst. The models don't sustain the 'situation' as long as I'd like, sometimes--the medical theme plays out more in the look of the environment where the action takes place than in the action itself--but, after all, what can you do (in terms of 'realistic acting') with a scene in which Trevor Knight succeeds, without much trouble, in removing the butt-plug that's been bothering Jackson Wild, and then pushes it right back in again? Trevor, though, is just SO good at keeping a straight face in scenes like this, and all during the foursome there are hot bodies and hot sex in every direction. The scene that works best as a scene is the one between Vinnie d'Angelo and Jake Dakota, in which Jake comes in with a complaint about migraines. (NB: Migraines are a real and serious medical problem. If you go into an ER with migraines and Vinnie d'Angelo starts treating you the way he does Jake, give me a call and I'll come take your place. Seriously. No, seriously.) Both Vinnie and Jake keep admirably straight faces while having admirably hot gay sex, and their bodies are nicely complementary, with Vinnie's all-over tan and macho aggressiveness contrasting beautifully with Jake's pale skin and timid, bewildered co-operation (and eventual enthusiasm). Johnny Gunn puts his beautiful dick to hot use in the second scene; I would agree with DPN 2009 that he's under-utilized in the finale. But, begging to differ with DPN2009, there's not just one scene you'll come back to, in my opinion. Vinnie in particular IS fucking hot and vice versa, though.

You know how you buy a video like this and there's one scene you keep coming back to over and over again? Well, for me, this one has at least two, and that's a VERY good thing. Hot House seems to have found the kind of men I like and features them doing what I love to see them do (for the most part), and PAGING DR. FINGER rates three stars alone for one scene in particular that I thought would melt my damn DVD player!

And that would be the Vinnie D'Angelo/Jake Dakota scene. I love it when two scorchingly hot performers seem to lock into each other with a heat and intensity that doesn't look or faked for a second, so these two are either really good porn actors, or they really did have a good time, with Vinnie really enjoying the plowing he gave Jake's ass as much as Jake loved him doing it!

Second hottest scene prize goes to Ty Le Beouf and Bo Dixon. Ty has what must be one of the most mouth-watering derrieres on the planet right now, and the way Bo uses his muscular unit to worship it the way Ty worships him is a beautiful sight to behold. I hadn't really seen much of Bo before, but Ty has really made an impression on me. He's a great model who seems to complement anyone he performs with, which is no easy task.

The heat wears off a little with the third scene I liked the most, which is the Gunn/Hurston/D'Macho threesome. It's a crying shame that three of Hot House's most insanely sexual and masculine performers are clumped together in a scene that seems so unfocused. Although D'Macho is supposed to be the centerpiece, Gunn and Hurston appear to have the hotter connection. And although Gunn is the most active bottom throughout the entire video, I would've loved to have seen him turn the tables on his co-stars and plow the living daylights out of both Hurston and D'Macho at the same time, with both of them returning the favor. Maybe there will be another opportunity in another video (=hint hint=)

I wish the duo between Gunn and Knight had done more for me, but there's just something about Knight's performance here that I just can't get into... at least not the way that Johnny appears to 'get into' C.J.'s muscle butt. Strange, because he seems a lot more into it in STARK NAKED, when paired with Ross Hurston. Oh, well, sometimes it works and sometimes...

And just to be polite, the foursome (Trevor Knight/Ford/Crow/Wild) features the kind of porn models I'm not usually into - more on the slimmer, hairless, twinky side. Not that I don't enjoy seeing them from time to time, but it does depend on the co-stars they're paired with, and since Vinnie or Ross are not part of that foursome, it just didn't do much for me. But that's why these DVD's have so many scenes in them. There won't be one where every scene pleases every viewer, but (hopefully) there will always be something for everyone.

But kudos to Mr. Scarborough for the Vinnie/Jake scene. More like that one, please!!!
