Dad Takes a Fishing Trip

First of a series of four "Dad" movies that Joe Gage directed (followed by "Dad Goes to College," "Dad Gets in Trouble," "Dad Out West") with an emphasis on 'intergenerational' sex--a Gage specialty--and sometimes on 'family roleplay,' though the latter doesn't play a part in the sexual situations as frequent as you might expect. The whole first half of this video, for instance, is comprised by three episodes in which the 'family roleplay' element isn't involved, though they're all 'intergenerational.' First up: Andrew Justice and two younger guys play around in a motel room. Andrew was 29 at the time, but he'd already been cast in similar roles--he played an uncle in 'Campus Pizza,' one of his first videos, at the age of 26. It sort of works, though. He's not particularly toppy, but he does project that attitude of the straight guy who enjoys having his cock sucked (and doesn't mind reciprocating) and plowing a cute ass, without identifying as gay--what we used to call 'trade' and used to identify with older guys in particular. That's not my favorite gay porn stereotype, but it may be yours. In the next scene, Josh West plays a man who turns his son (Sean Preston) over to a friend (Dane Hyde) who will 'put him to work.' Dane Hyde is a hot and convincing 'daddy' and though Sean isn't very expressive, his tall, skinny pale body has an interesting look, and when he fucks Dane with his big dick, Dane maintains the toppy 'daddy' role quite convincingly all the way through. Then there's Chad Brock as an airline pilot who looks great in and out of uniform and Kain Warn as the young man to whom he provides a very good time on the balcony at the top of the stairs in somebody's house. If Chad isn't way into sucking and fucking Kain, he's a very good actor--he projects the tenderness and enthusiasm I was missing in Andrew's performance. Finally there's the big orgy scene at the end, over an hour long. Gage is not the kind of director who throws a bunch of men together and tells them to 'go at it'--the orgy is well-structured, with each new arrival carefully introduced into the mix like a new ingredient blended into a cake batter. You may find the pacing a bit too stately--the shots of Allen Silver lowering his butt down onto Ken Mack's face put me in mind of Gloria Swanson's 'close-up' at the end of 'Sunset Boulevard'--but everything is arranged for maximum impact. Finally Allen's son (Justin Taylor), whom we glimpsed at the beginning of the video, shows up. Though Allen and Justin never actually touch each other, they watch each other at close range and even take turns sucking Ken Mack's cock. At the end, we see Justin jerking off (and fingering his hole, too, a particularly hot touch) as he watches his 'dad' get off with various other guys. Not quite top-drawer Gage but there are many jerk-worthy moments and the performances of Dane and Chad, in particular, led me to check out some of their other videos.
