Summer is here, the heat is on and it's time for...sequels! And raucously mischievous writer/director Todd Stephens delivers with the anticipated follow-up to Another Gay Movie. Andy, Nico, Jarod and Griff are back and ready for action in a big way with a sun- and fun-drenched excursion to Ft. Lauderdale for Spring Break. After a wildly bumpy plane ride featuring Amanda Lepore in all her voluptuous glory, the boys find themselves knee-deep in a sea of hunky man-flesh. Enthusiastically, they enter the annual "Gays Gone Wild" contest, hosted by statuesque Tyrelle Tyrelle (RuPaul) and dazzling Sandi Cove (Lady Bunny). But the boys soon realize that the goal of getting the most "action" over the course of their vacation is fraught with obstacles including wet "package" contests, slip n' slide gay shuffleboard, an evil gay clique and even genital crabs! Add a good dose of celebrity cameos, mix in an over-the-top musical number and shake up pop cultural references from Beach Blanket Bingo to What Ever Happened to Baby Jane, and Another Gay Sequel will have you bubbling with joy -- and occasional shock -- with its raunchy jokes that smack of charm and sweetness.

Terrible movie with one Saving Grace - Sean Paul Lockhart as Stan The Merman! Sean is a Delight and the Only reason to buy this DVD.

This was just bad from start to finish. Most of the original cast did not return, although through no fault of the director. But with a script this bad, I can't blame them. With all these celebs and porn stars, I was hoping for something more fun and engaging. Instead it was tedious and quite frankly boring.

Well unlike many gay sequels, such as the Eating Out franchise, this is full and complete crap.
My anticipation fell thru the floor due to bad script, appaling direction, lack of continuity in origional actors (with pathetic excuses md IN the movie as to why), abd crass cunsumer usage, which I'm sure allowed for the cheap overall production.
What could have been so good, is a complete and total failure.
Don't buy it, your wasting your time, else find out the hard way.

Well, i didn't have high hopes after reading the other reviews for it. However, I will say that the first one was absolutely trumps this one. Had a few giggle parts, but the rest was kind of bad acting and misplaced advertising (which i laughed about because they had to pay for the movie somehow! Cant hate them for that!). There were a few cute guys but other than that it wasn't great. It for sure will not win any awards but it is what it is.

What a waste of money and time. A huge disappointment. The first one was nothing to write home about but at least it had some good laughs. This sequel is just beyond bad. The jokes are not funny, the premise is stupid, the acting sucks! And, there is enough product placement in the film to make you feel like you are watching a gay version of the home shopping network, trying to sell you memberships to every porn site out there. Save your money. This one is BAD!!!!

This sequel to one of the funniest gay flicks ever is nothing more than TRASH! Doubtful that a lot of the original cast chose not to be in this disaster due to them being labeled gay. They passed on this because it is nothing but a ridiculous attempt to capitalize on the original. Jonah Blechman is one of the original cast members to return and he is an embarassment. Way too nellie and he can't act anyway. I bought this due to the fact that the orignal had some class. This sequel should be burned and never shown again, anywhere. SAVE YOUR MONEY!

The original movie was clever and entertaining. This sequel was a pathetic excuse for a movie--packed full of product promotions. RuPaul and Perez Hilton should be embarrassed for lending their names to this disaster.

Another Gay Sequel: Gays Gone Wild"
We Asked For It
Amos Lassen
"Another Gay Movie" was quite the hit when it came out last year---so much so that TLA gives us a sequel. "Another Gay Movie" was about four young gay men who wanted desperately to get laid for the first time. Now the guys want to see who can get laid the most. Our boys-Andy, Nico, Jarod and Griff are ready for action so they go to Fort Lauderdale for Spring Break to see how much sex they can have. With great enthusiasm they enter the "Gays Gone Wild" contest which is hosted by Tyrell Tyrell (RuPaul) and Sandi Cove (Lady Bunny). The goal of the contest is to get the most sex and the guys are eager. There are several challenges to participate in including a wet package contest, slip and slide shuffleboard, competing with an evil three man clique and body lice the size of small puppies. But the biggest obstacle for three of the guys is love as one of the guys falls for a hunky Hispanic and two others are involved in a monogamous relationship.
There are lots of laughs here and plenty slapstick and base humor, some of it is gross and juvenile. The members of the original cast does not participate in the sequel and I understand that this is because they did not want to be typecast as gay so we have new guys playing the leads except for Joseph Blechman as Nico and he is nellier than ever. The boys learn that getting laid is not so easy and the attempts are hysterically funny.
There is lots of male nudity, penis humor and good looking men and an outlandish, ribald golden shower sequence. There is little about gay life that the movie does not touch and the film is both crude and rude. There is belching, farting, , butt plugs and almost anything else you can think of.
It's a fun movie if you do not get wrapped up in it's crudity-take it for what it is. You are really not supposed to be a classic or something you have to think about.
A Little Later
"Another Gay Sequel: Gays Gone Wild"-the extras
Better than the Movie
Amos Lassen
When I reviewed "Another Gay Sequel" a few months ago, I only had a screener of the film. Yesterday I received the full DVD with the extras and the uncut version of the film (there are two DVD versions of the film available---the theatrical release and the uncut version-you want the uncut). Let me just say that the extras are better than the film.
Included in the extras are:
Audio commentary with director Todd Stevens and producer Curt.
"Becoming Stan the Merman"-a look at the costume design for porn star Brett Corrigan (we get to see him completely naked and showing us all).
"Under the Golden Sea"-a featurette on the golden shower musical sequence containing semi-nudity and lots of urination.
"It's a Pukefest"-another featurette but this one about the really disgusting scene that may have you gagging.
"Greetings from Sunny Fort Lauderdale"-a look at the place where the movie was made with lots of hunky men.
"The Clap"-a very funny music video starring celebrity gossip hound, Perez Hilton.
Deleted Scenes-short clips of scenes which did not make it into the final cut
And
The theatrical trailer and previews of other releases from TLA video, one of the leaders in the release of gay themed films.

Loved the original, saw this Sequel as a wedding gift. The line to see it was about 3 hours long and I hear people paid decent change for it. About 1/4 of the way through, the theatre emptied out. We stayed hoping it was going to get better but we were wrong. The jabs at the original cast not wanting to be typecast as gay worked for me until I noticed how busy they've been since the original. I'm betting they just didn't want to be part of this trainwreck.

holy in the cut out all Perez Hilton footage. his scenes are about as
humorous as a root canal without novocane. you can dis the Catholic
Church for its outdated stands on things but when you start making fun
of Jesus himself dems fightin' words. i have no idea why director Todd
Stephens actually thought these scenes sere funny.

Loved the original. Preordered the sequel, saw the movie in the theatre, canceled the preorder.
I love satire, but this movie simply was a mess.
