Exposed: The Making Of A Legend

"Once in every generation, a film comes along..." That's not usually a phrase used to describe a pornographic film, but Colt Studio and Buckshot Productions' cowboy fantasy BuckleRoos isn't your typical sex flick. Co-directed by Jerry Douglas and John Rutherford, the two-part, four-hour long gay adult video is a masterpiece of the genre. How it got made is the subject of this rollicking, rock-hard documentary by female gay-porn videographer Mr. Pam. Filmed during an unprecedented 17-day production schedule, eXposed captures both intense action and hilarious mishaps, like the film's "climax" being ruined by the sudden bellowing of a cow, Rutherford's calming a first-time actor who failed to "rise to the occasion," or star Dean Phoenix trying to be sexy after succumbing to food poisoning. It also offers insightful interviews with cast and crew: there's the sexy southerner who does porn to pay for law school, the hunky Latino who's an ex-Pentecostal minister, and the straight PA who drops trou if an actor needs "inspiration." They're all appealing, engaging and thoroughly professional people who love what they do and truly want to do it well. The work gets hard, but so do they, and hard work never looked so fun!

Yeah, we all love penetration and cumshots, but the tease in this documentary for the making of "Buckleroos" is too hot to be ignored.

Mr. Pam does a great job of moving the camera quickly down to various crotches, enough for you to enjoy one erection after another. I am also turned on by just the hint of butt-and-oral sex. Watch these guys joke with each other and with the crew while they wander around with their hard-ons wagging like puppy dog tails!

I even get off on Zak Spears, the manliest of porn stars, continually expressing dismay at the beautiful bodies he doesn't get to play with (since his character was the non-sexual role in this video). Lucky for me and all other Spears fans, not only is this hunk still working, but this video actually contains a hardcore bonus scene with Carlo Massi. Trust me, you DON'T want to miss this scene!

Beyond that, it was actually quite intriguing to me to watch all the behind-the-scenes work that went into this shoot. The guys zip up and go out to dinner, Dean Phoenix actually shows up to a shoot while sick to his stomach, and the adorable Marcus Iron has to make no less than three efforts at a cumshot (dutifully NOT shown, but more dutifully heard).

These guys cry and hug after wrapping their dirty little video. It's nice to see one big happy family working in gay porn, isn't it?
