Batters up! Eight young lean jocks play with each other's swinging bats and balls in this good-looking but somewhat disappointingly tame outfielder's ode to America's favorite pastime. (The second favorite, I'm rather sure, is baseball.) Not to be confused with the film At Play in the Fields of the Lord (you know the flick I mean: the one in which Tom Berenger pranced about naked in the rainforest), In the Field of Play is a merely lukewarm twinkie bonker with a loose sporting theme. Though fit, trim and delectable, the boys here all seem to be thinking about baseball instead of hardcore sex, as evidenced by their surprising lack of combustion, not to mention a peculiar scarcity of requisite moaning, groaning, gagging and slurping noises. These boys could be the most hushed fuckers and suckers ever to get it on. Connoisseurs of vanilla porn will savor all the cock licking, nut nibbling, sixty-nining, finger poking and ass slamming, and the hung twinks are both smooth and naturally hairy, cut and uncut. If your tastes run darker than vanilla, you may want to skip this game. It's not entirely a no-hitter though: Hairy-chested and mega-hung Chris Sullivan sets off some climactic fireworks as he shoves his thick cock into bottom boy Peter Long while simultaneously tasting Peter's own rather large slugger. And ink and piercing fetishists will drool for firebox cover boy Kurt Summers, though exactly why his tattoos have been summarily airbrushed out of the cover shot is quite beyond me.
