Sweet Taste of Youth, A

A Sweet Taste of Youth was one of Jaguar's most successful theatrical releases back in its day, and it's easy to see why. Well shot and with a mostly-convincing - if somewhat slightly creepy - shaggy-haired storyline, it's a polished piece of porn. Bearded daddy Jeff Colt is motorcycling up to his cabin with the (really) young love of his life, the androgynous-looking Craig. The two are deeply in love, and have a serious lovemaking session in the field behind the cabin. Jeff buries his tongue (and beard) deep into Craig's virginal white ass, as he moans deliriously. Afterward, Jeff asks Craig about his past "lover" (I think they're called "boyfriends" in Junior High, Jeff). We flashback to Craig frolicking with his ex, a curly-haired lad named Billy; they broke up because Billy was "too young" for Craig. Flash forward to now, where Billy is plowing his new boy/man Scotty. They decide to take a trip to Scotty's uncle's cabin for the day, and... you know where this is going. As it turns out Billy is Craig's ex, and Scotty is Jeff's half brother. This revelation, coupled with an earlier scene involving an old pervert who puts the moves on Billy and Scotty while hitchhiking, give the flick an especially dirty feeling. The print used is in surprisingly good shape, yet the lack of any bonus content on the bare-bones DVD-R release leaves a lot to be desired. But the good camerawork (for the time period; this was shot on film after all) and deep, sensual cum-soaked sex scenes make A Sweet Taste of Youth a semi-classic of the genre worth getting.
