Elliot Loves
TLA ReleasingFrom the creative mind of Terracino, comes this wildly entertaining NYC tale of wide-eyed Elliot, a gay young man seen both as an inquisitive 10-year-old boy with an intense releationship with his mother and as an idealistic, 21-year-old searching for love in all the wrong places.
Reasons to Buy
- Elliot Loves won the Audience Award for Best Feature at the 2012 Miami Gay and Lesbian Film Festival. It was also chosen as the Opening Night Screening at Philadelphia QFest.
- Newcomers Quentin Araugo and Fabio Costaprado give brilliant performances as the same character. They look alike, they sound alike. It almost seems like they filmed this movie over the course of 12 years just to keep the same actor playing Elliot.
- Director Terracino is very good at blending many different elements together and making them all work. Elliot Loves has lots of laughs, emotional moments, sex appeal, smart drama, romance and much, much more. This is a hard film to categorize, but that just adds to the appeal.
