Writer/director Afdhere Jama's Apart follows several entangled lives in Los Angeles: Mario (Chance Marure), a young man who feels rejected by an older man; John (Eli Marrs), a jaded hustler and dealer who keeps happiness at bay; Dre (Antonio Reed), who is left astonished by the sudden break up with his girlfriend; and Mannu (Raj Preetam), who faces a tragedy.
