Brothers of the Night
Altered InnocenceBROTHERS OF THE NIGHT follows a group of young Bulgarian Roma who move to Vienna in search of adventure and freedom, but poverty drives them to with older men for money. Boys by day and kings by night, they're sucked into the allure of a nocturnal lifestyle while striving to support their families and children back home. Here, though, they find comfort and togetherness in the ability to be young and reckless. An official selection at the Berlin Film Festival this wild and surreal docu-drama from director Patric Chiha (Domain) takes cues from Fassbinder, Pasolini, and Grodecki while forging a new and exciting narrative path of its own.
