Gary Oldman

Bursting onto the film scene with Sid and Nancy and Prick Up Your Ears, Gary Oldman has been the go-to-guy for any casting director looking for the smoothest of badasses. While roles such as Sirius Black (in the Harry Potter movies), Dracula (in the Francis Ford Coppola adaptation) and even Lee Harvey Oswald (in JFK) seem natural fits, Oldman has also excelled in lighter fare, like the comedy Rosencrantz and Guilderstern Are Dead, and as a guest star on "Friends" in 2001. He also wrote and directed the deeply moving drama Nil by Mouth in 1997. Despite all the acclaim he's garnered over the years, Oldman has yet to receive a single Oscar® nomination.
