Aiden Shaw

Being born into a large Irish Catholic family, Aiden Shaw's life was spent trying to set himself apart from his siblings. Little did anyone imagine that this young British boy with hopes of becoming a pop star would eventually gain notoriety as gay porn royalty. At the age of 18, Shaw enrolled in Brighton College's Expressive Arts course, it was around this time that he began hustling for extra cash. With his chiseled good looks, incredible body and large endowment, he became the toast of the town. In 1991 he moved to LA where his foray into gay porn was inevitable. It was Polaroids of Shaw naked and aroused, taken by acclaimed adult film director Chi Chi LaRue, that spawned his career in adult film.Shawhas since starred in over 50 hardcore features and in 1997 was diagnosed as HIV +. His first semi-autobiographical novel, Brutal, was published in 1996. Shaw continues to write and has published a total of 6 books including a collection of poetry. In 2006, he received an MA in Creative and Life Writing at Goldsmiths University of London and continues to focus on his literary career as well as his passion for composing and singing. Shaw continues to publish autobiographical works such as, My Undoing: Love in the Thick of Sex, , Prostitution and Pornography, , and Sordid Truths: Selling My Innocence for a Taste of Stardom.
