The actual members of the Hong Kong Baseball Team bare their souls and bodies to

play themselves in this fictional youth drama. In a city where baseball culture is

non-existent, these baseball players are a minority by choice. The experience teaches

them to be free-thinkers in dealing with love, friendship and their own sexuality. It

also enables them to find the will to live in the face of death and the strength to

conquer losing in a spectatorless sport.

Reasons to Buy

  1. City Without Baseball opens with a delicious (and completely homoerotic) locker room shower scene - you know, from the beginning, that it's going to be hot.
  2. Hong Kong filmmaker Scud cast the actual players of the official 2008 Hong Kong Baseball Team in this film - and has most of them appear nude.
  3. Though this movie made waves when it opened in Hong Kong, it has not been available on DVD in the United States... until now! Enjoy!

In-House Review - Mar 26 2012
Though it is not without drama, sentimentality and some heady personal themes, City Without Baseball often has the feel of one of those 1980s sex comedies about desperately horny teen boys who are just looking to get laid before the last day of schoo... Read More

First... one of the "categories" is wrong... there is NO "male sex scene". And whoever wrote the review about "frequent" nude scenes... there are 2 shower scenes... one shows a lot more than the other. And I guess a couple of butt shots, which is n... Read More

Set in 2004, Scud uses actual members of the Hong Kong Baseball Team for this fictional film. The city where the movie takes place has no baseball so the players that live there are a true minority. Because of this they learn to think freely about fr... Read More
