Sure, there are times when a rough go round the ol' pole is the best you can do at the moment, but when given the chance, lubrication is always the key. And, with the plethora of pleasure-assisting lubricants on the market today, there's no reason why saliva should be your only lubricating weapon.

Here at TLA, we got tired of licking our palms (and our girlfriends certainly got sick of us trying to spit on their butts while trying to knock on the backdoor) and thought we should explore this vast universe of lubricants. We were shocked to discover just how many were out there and honestly, a little overwhelmed. That's why we decided to put our staff through a vigorous course, spending grueling hours locked in a room with multiple varieties of lubricant, toys, and their twisted imaginations. After weeks of "exhausting" labor and satisfying every single urge (that may or may not involve lube), we unlocked the door, hosed the room down and LUBE 101 was born.

We categorized the lubes and broke down what each is ideally used for, listed the pros and cons and what our lube experts rated their favorite. It was a hell of a process and even worse for the poor bastard that had to clean that room.

WHY USE LUBRICANT ANYWAY?
Sure, spit goes a long way but is far from ideal. With the help of some lube, you can stay focused on the fantasy and not worry about having to spit (or be spit on) every two seconds.

  • Some lubricants contain glycerin, which has slightly bitter taste
