In 1984, twelve years after the now famous adult film, Deep Throat, hit the screens, Gerard Damiano set out to show the world just how far adult cinema had come. Throat: 12 Years After is certainly not as ground-breaking as its predecessor, but it does feature some kinky sex acts which were not widely exposed at that time. The film portrays some of the bigger stars of the era (George Payne, Sharon Mitchell, Joey Silvera, Sharon Kane & Jerry Butler) and is the XXX debut for lovely Michelle Maren. As the story unfolds, we get to witness each of the main character’s sexual proclivities and hang-ups—everything from extra-marital affairs and swinging to prostitution and orgies.

We begin with married man Walter (George Payne), whose sex life is anything but exciting. He decides to see a hooker (Sharon Mitchell). Not only does she strip for him, suck his cock and spread her legs, but she tells him all her dirty fantasies (like the one where she gives head to someone through a chain-link fence!). Meanwhile, back home, Walter’s wife Marsha (Michelle Maren) confesses to the meter reader, Joe (Eric Edwards) that she’s embarrassed to tell her husband what she desires.
