Skinopsis

Tied by circumstance, status, sex or skin colour, this movie addresses the political injustice of ‘upstairs downstairs’. It would seem however, that the divide between living quarters is relaxed, as well-to-do ladies offer to ease themselves up and help soap down a rather well equipped black servant standing naked in a tin bath beside their chaise lounge… (how bizarre…?) Meanwhile, the master of the house orders his black maid to obey his demands or take a whipping. Will power always prevail? Certainly the power of rebellion can be sharply felt as the aristocratic morons in this movie rather satisfyingly find out… (OUCH!)
