Review

In most of my reviews, I try to include a brief description of every scene in the movie in addition to a more general evaluation of a film's strengths and weaknesses. With Pop That Cherry #2, I won't bother. Every scene is so similar to the last that I don't need to tell you what's in each one. All of the girls are cute, and all of them go through three or four standard positions with the occasional pussy-to-mouth blowjob to mix things up a bit. The only variation from routine comes from an anal-sex sequence featuring the striking Saphire Rae.

To give the producers the credit that's due them, Pop That Cherry #2 does have several things going for it. The Jordan Brothers don't seem to be afraid to allow a little ethnic action to slip into the mix, as Ramona Luv is a tight-bodied little latina and covergirl Simone adds some multi-racial spice (though, I have to admit, she looks enough like my little sister that I couldn't watch her scene all the way through. No, my sister isn't in porn. No, I won't introduce you to her anyway.). It's a nice change of pace, especially compared to some of the more racially homogenous legal-teen series out there.

Additionally, all of the girls are very cute and young-looking, with fresh-looking faces and tight, nubile bodies. You probably haven't seen some of them before. In fact, I think that Anarchy Films would have us believe that this is the first film for two of the performers. That's possible, though I very seriously doubt that Cherry Lane is in fact a virgin as claimed in the back-of-the-box blurb. Sadly, the fact that some of these girls are relative rookies is sometimes a little too obvious. Only Elizabeth Lawrence and Ramona look like they are comfortable in front of a camera. Taylor Rain just lays there her entire scene, and at times Saphire looks like she's about as enthusiastic about what's going on as Ron Jeremy at a vegetarian buffet.

The technical quality of Pop That Cherry 2 is mediocre at best, and absolutely inexcusably bad in some places. The sound is poor at times, and the lighting is very questionable. The picture looks overexposed and washed out in many spots. Also, poor cinematography seriously ruins the mood of at least two of the scenes. If you're reading this, Anarchy Films, pay attention: Bad gonzo camerawork is only acceptable in bad gonzo films. If you're trying to make a quality fuck-flick, hire some cameramen with steady hands who won't get distracted during shooting and film nothing but a beach towel and a section of razor-burned shin for twenty seconds at a time. Better yet, buy a damn tripod.

Considering how attractive the female talent was, this movie could easily have been 3 1/2 out of 4 stars with a professional crew and a good director. But, considering that it's an Anarchy Films production, Pop That Cherry #2 is going to have to settle for 2 stars instead.
