3 Reasons To buy this film

  • "What does it matter to ya / When you got a job to do / You gotta do it well / You gotta give the other fellow hell"
  • Roger Moore's first turn as Bond also includes one of the best theme songs
  • However, can we please get Wings' version of "Simply Having a Wonderful Christmas Time" permanently banned from the radio? That song makes us want to strangle foie gras ducks for fun.

Review

Moore's first outing as 007 takes us on an excursion to the Caribbean where he unearths a heroin ring masterminded by Kotto. The tropical climate allows for ample unveiling of female décolletage, principally Seymour, and the usual bevy of would-be starlets. Perhaps not the best of the Bond series, but certainly worth a look for anyone interested in a capable action-adventure flick. (Sequel: The Man with the Golden Gun)
