Touted as featuring the world's first gay action hero, this fast-paced independent film follows a gay couple - Paul (Henry White) and Josh (Troy Sostillio) - who find their neatly organized lives threatened when a mob contract is put out on one of the lovers. While going to a grocery store in New York, Josh witnesses a double Mafia hit and soon finds himself the target of elimination as well. The two men are also in the process of adopting a child, with the final court date just days away. Instead of running away the two mild men don their best Clint Eastwood pose and bravely confront their would-be assassins. An adroit blending of a gay family drama with the violence, blood and excitement of a crime thriller. Not your typical gay film!

this flick is totally ahead of it's time

I loved this film, putting behind the obvious amateurish writing and obviously film school budget this film succeeds on so many levels. It is probably one of the only films of that era to put the fact that the main characters are gay in the back seat of the story.

It also is probably one of the only films I have seen that has a fat guy and skinny guy as a couple and that too takes a back seat.

This film subtle strengths are in the ability to parallel life in the closet with life on the run. And when the main character decides to"come out of the closet". LOOK OUT! Double guns a blazin'! Now that is what I call comin' out the closet!

The director was obviously wackin' it to John Woo when he was making this movie but I guess who wasn't back then.

Nice job, totally worth checking out even for just the last 20 minute bloodbath which is obviously where the whole budget went when they made the thing.

This movie kicked ass for two reasons. One: the guys weren't nelly and they weren't total twinkie boys. Two: the action was great.

Also the parallel between the main character not telling anyone about the murder is a nice comment on the life of a gay man in the closet. At least that is waht I read into it. I could be wrong.

this is one of the worst movies i have ever seen. the story is weak, the acting weaker, the cinematography is horrible, and they could at least have cast some hot guys in it. if you feel the need to see it rent it don't waste your money on buying it, it is really bad.
