An often perceptive and funny story which revolves around the friendship and evolving sexual relations between three college students sharing the same dorm suite. Stephen Baldwin is a straight jock, Josh Charles is the "sexually ambivalent" narrator and Lara Flynn Boyle is the woman mistakenly assigned to their room. Complications arise when love and lust rears its ugly head. The witty script which is crammed with hilariously accurate thoughts and comments on gays, straights and today's college life keeps the comedy-drama together. Also features Alexis Arquette in a small bitch queen role. Not a gay breakthrough film, but an entertaining one that approaches gay life in a sensitive (albeit tentative) fashion.
