REVIEW
Burton and Taylor deliver career best performances as a tortured college professor and his vitriolic wife in Edward Albee's scorching domestic drama. Segal and Dennis (at her mousiest) are the innocent young couple who spend a gut-wrenching, soul-baring evening with lush-ious Liz and down-and-out Dick. Brilliantly directed by Nichols.
FAVORITE LINE
"I will hold your hand when it's dark and you're afraid of the boogeyman and I will tote your gin bottles out after midnight so no one can see but I will not light your cigarette. And that, as they say, is that." --Richard Burton as George
