REVIEW
Go takes the great characterizations and kinetic energy of director Liman's Swingers and ups the ante with colorful widescreen cinematography and a groundbreaking narrative style. The Möbius-looping story is told from the perspectives of different characters (à la Rashomon) and has them connect in unexpected ways (à la Pulp Fiction), yet stands on its own as wholly original. The spiraling story begins as supermarket cashier Polley begins a night on the town, scoring drugs and going to a rave. From there, people she works with and meets soon become the center of the film. Basically told in three acts, the non-linear story never loses its lightning-quick pulse and always remains in focus. Thankfully, the twists are never hokey; they're done for laughs and feel natural. Astoundingly entertaining, half the laughter is from the humor and half just from Go's exhilarating rush. Of the great cast, Polley excels as Ronna, who comes full circle in this twisting, tantalizing puzzle of a film.
