An American Werewolf in Paris
1997, 98 min
Country: US Studio: Disney Cast: Tom Everett Scott, Julie Delpy, Vince Vieluf Director: Anthony Waller Our Rating:
REVIEW
A terrible rehash, An American Werewolf in Paris is so bad it could easily make one forget how good An American Werewolf in London is. Andy (Scott) and his buddies are traipsing around Europe trying to get laid when Andy saves Serafine (Delpy) from an attempted dive off the Eiffel Tower. It turns out she's a werewolf, and Andy soon finds himself bitten as well. He then must save his friends, save the girl, save Paris from other werewolves, and try not to eat everyone in the process. Director Waller attempts to re-create some trademarks of John Landis' first film (dream-within-a-dream, the witty and rotting undead), but they are awkwardly executed. It's hard to get scared when your heroes are being chased by the worst computer graphics this side of "Babylon 5." Editor's Suggestions
