Review

OpenCam is the story of a heartbroken hottie named Manny (Andreau Thomas), his internet-fueled love life and the men he has slept with that are subsequently brutally murdered. After an attack on Manny and his best friend/ex Maurice (Ben Green), Manny and the investigating cop Hamilton (Amir Darvish) take more than a casual interest in each other – in a dark alley. But Manny doesn't want to hook up with the hot cop again; it seems he doesn't want anyone twice. Instead, Manny is obsessed with an Internet webcam chatroom where guys jerk off on camera and all niceties of romance are shunted to the side. Hamilton checks the site himself and finds a murder – on camera – of a guy that Manny has slept with. When another former one-nighter of Manny's is murdered, Hamilton decides to trap the killer by pretending he's Manny's boyfriend, a not unpleasant prospect for the cop with the ripped abs.

Will the cops catch the killer before he kills again? Will Manny's heart open to Hamilton, or for another guy? Produced on a shoestring and created with tons of heart and soul, OpenCam is a treat for mystery lovers.

I barely made it through this

This is definately ( at this time ) the worst gay movie in my collection... The "story" takes about two thirds the way through to even become evident that there IS one... the acting is basically as though they hired guys who usually do "porn acting"... it's horrible... The black guy with the dreds and the "cop" are the best... yet they get over shadowed by the absolutely emotionless, talentless lead... who's name I can't seem to care about... I was also struck by the fact that it seems as if they hired the entire cast from the gay mens chorus or something ... even the "straight" guys have the "gay voice" and are completely unbelieveable as "straight"... every single one of 'em... I would recommed "Urbania" if you want a creepy gay themed thriller.... if anybody likes this movie e-mail me and I'll sell it to you CHEAP!!

Good Show - Hot Men!

I enjoyed this movie. The sound was a bit too soft and it was hard to remember who was who in the movie. The story was not "complete" but I did like the movie. The ending was a surprise to me - I didn't see that coming. I will buy the uncensored version so I can enjoy more of the men, but I really wish they would have put extras on the DVD. What's up with that?

Rent or buy this movie as it's a pretty good movie, though at times the plot is a bit hard to take.

OKAY! YES! Seem like Gaston has a film in the serial murder genre of gay men. A who-done-it with as many twist and turns as a Agatha Christi novel. To please those with more jaded desires, plenty of juicy sex acenes are included, a few which are quite over the top.(see Deleted & Extended Scenes).Should be added to any Gay Cinema Collection. TOTAL ENCAPTUREMENT!!!

Not Hard Enough

Ok, the critics here are unhappy with this movie and I agree, but the problem they seem to be upset about is the non showing of a man's hard or flacid penis. Hey, if you want that there's plenty of other movies out there with that for you. But I liked this movie for just the sexiness and to look for production snafu's. Story is weak here but there are some frim asses and cute guys...just what my doctor always orders!

It's not a great movie but I've seen much worse. My only real problem is the sex scenes are too censored. I saw the unrated version of this and of Circuit and that showed much more.
