Review

There isn't anything gay about The Naked Peacock, but it does offer a lot of full male nudity. Filmed in the 1970s, this flick offers a behind-the-scenes glimpse into various nudist colonies. The guys on display probably wouldn't fit anyone's perfect description of attractive - they're mostly hairy, slightly out-of-shape middle aged dudes - but that is part of the fun. It's nice to see communities where everyone is accepted (and even embraced) regardless of what they look. There are also a lot of boobies on display, though, so if female nudity makes you happy, you'll be very happy indeed.

Some of the footage hasn't held up all that well, but The Naked Peacock should still appeal to anyone with an interest in '60s and '70s counterculture. This is an interesting curio from a moment in time that has long since passed.
