Review

Sprawling though unremarkable film version of the landmark Rodgers and Hammerstein Broadway musical. MacRae and Jones are the youthful lovers; their romance interrupted by hired hand Steiger. A great score complements the immortal Agnes de Mille dance sequences. Good supporting cast includes the always-fine Greenwood and Graham as Ado Annie.
