This kinky crime thriller uses Tarantino-style violence and a bevy of pretty boys to create an improbable tale dripping with homoerotic undertones. Leon (Baldwin) and Florence (Rourke) are two gun-toting crooks (and possible lovers) looking to hit a bank in a Southern town. Their scheme is foiled when three freshly scrubbed teens get in the way. The boys -- ringleader David (Arquette), cute Joe (Blechman) and chisleled beauty Tim (London) -- are soon held hostage by the hoods. The film then takes a decidedly S&M bent as knives and guns are brandished (often times towards their captives' mouths -- duh, symbolism?), pants are dropped and a bondage fantasy right out of a violent porn novel is acted out as all Leon and Florence torment the youths while figuring out their next move.
