Review

Holler is like the lost episode of Hee-Haw - the one where everyone is gay and horny and they all end up getting inbred on each other’s asses. This movie is an interesting departure for Titan, and may flummox some of the fans who are expecting "typical" Titan fare. Though many of the men do fit into the Titan mold (slightly older, Daddyish, hairy), there’s an emphasis on more natural, less bodybuilder-type bodies (with the exception of Dino) and there’s even a real live frosted-haired post-twink (Peters) in the mix!

Don’t expect the menacingly rough sex you’ve come to expect from the studio either; the sex is intense yet "normal", without the hardcore vibe that usually pervades Titan's films. That said, Holler does contain many of the elements that make Titan one of the very best studios: Great-looking men, top-notch cinematography, and great sex.

The movie opens with a torrid trailer tryst between furry, craggy, goateed Ford, handsome, goateed Tanner (who looks sort of like the UPS guy from the Drew Carey show) and blonde, boyish Wild. These boys go at it like real pros, licking, nibbling and sucking everything in sight. Wild plays the subbie for the most part, gobbling dick with great panache. At one point, Ford inexplicably takes a break to pee in to a beer bottle. Both Wild and Ford end up bottoming, and Wild even ends up with a beer bottle up the gazoo! Poor Wild also ends up getting a golden shower of love from Ford, who must have had a lot of Country Time Lemonade before the shoot. In the scene’s finale, the three he-men plop down on a couch and take themselves to the Cumville, USA through self-manipulation. Take note of the great orgasm-faces!

The next scene is the film’s weakest, which is a shame because it features two of the hottest men in the film. Dino is a hairy, hulking beast with a monstrous thing between his legs, and Rossado is a handsome goateed smoothie with a fine ethnic look. They are joined by the cap-wearing blonde Parker, who basically serves as a receptacle for their unquenchable desires. With the exception of Parker, who emotes well (he does have a huge weenis up his butt), the other two are poker-faced robots who should be a lot more into what they’re doing, The scene is short, and features some listless sucky-suck and some acceptable butt-pounding.

Veteran pornie Johnson and British foul-mouth Foster (neither of whom have the typical Titan look) turn in an alarmingly torrid performance in the next scene. The scene opens with the two slobbering like dogs over each other’s faces, and then moves on to some crazed knob-gobbling. Johnson can’t get enough of Foster’s meaty, uncut pud! Foster then slams the bejesus out of Johnson, who doesn’t hide the fact that he likes it like that. Hot!

The lust-o-meter drops a bit in the next scene, a threeway between West (military cut, borderline Hitlerian moustache, hairy), Paris (dark-haired, youngish, smooth) and Peters (frosted hair, twink-eqsue look). After the men catch Parker watching them doing un-Christian things to each other, they turn him into their plaything. Butts are penetrated, dicks are sucked - it’s a homo spectacular!

The final scene starts out as one of the most tender couplings I’ve ever seen in a Titan film. A grinning Tanner takes his time rousing bleached-blonde Peters to a state of moaning ecstasy using his finger, tongue, and, of course, schlong. After the climax, things take a nasty turn as Peters’ seemingly bottomless hole swallows up Tanner’s entire hand and wrist. Peters even manages to put his own hand up his ass! If fisting isn’t your idea of romance, you may find it hard to watch, but fans of rectal puppet shows will get a charge out of it. Parker turns the tables and hooks some sort of electric shock device up to Tanner’s funhole and fiddles with knobs, which Tanner seems to enjoy very much indeed.

The second disc features 90 minutes of bonus materials (some good, some rather unnecessary) including an extra scene, a cumshot review, behind the scenes outtakes, a music image gallery and previews of other Titan films.

While Holler may not be Titan’s "all-time best," it’s still better than 90 percent of the porn you’re likely to see this year. Though some of the action is a tad lackluster by Titan standards, this is still great stuff and definitely worth buying. Especially recommended for gays living in Kentucky and West Virginia - if you can get your hands on it!
