Review

While its scale may be more fitting for the small screen rather than the large one, this ghost comedy is really quite a charmer. Sedgwick, Sizemore, Woodard and Grodin are lost souls. They unexplainedly find themselves watching over a youngster, who grows up to be harried businessman Downey. As they try to put his life right, they also are given a chance to tie up the loose ends of their own lives, which each failed to do before their deaths. As he demonstrated in Chaplin, Downey has a real knack for physical comedy; which comes in handy since the spirits -- recalling Steve Martin's All of Me -- possess Downey's body for much of the film.
