I watched this movie at a friend's house thinking it was porn. It's the worst porno EVER! I even had to look it up online to find out if it was in fact a porn or not. They actually believe it's a movie and not a porn. Another funny note is that this Richard Anthony guy apparently goes onto all of his reviews and leaves himself great reviews under different alias. So does his two token stars who are also porn actors, Michael Haboush and James Townsend. They both branched off to make films which are also crap and leave themselves rave reviews, it's kind of hilarious and sad.

We have all of the RAF films and loved ever one of the movies. True some of the workmanship is not at a 20 million dollar lever. But the producers are not controlled by the straight community, or better yet the stange Hollywood type. Yes Maurice Maxwell is a eccentric, but he is the gay community eccentric. He is a 1950's drag queen wantabe who never made it. Historically RAF is right on the botton, production wise it is a low budger film company.

It has been a lively debate about the RAF movies and production. The problem I see is there are people out in video land who wait for our next movie to come out just to say bad things about it. It is nice to know they like us so much to spend their 40 bucks. Someone must like our projects since we do sell them. True with the cost of movie production we are lucky to have deep pockets from a gay businessman who likes our stuff. But they all make a profit and he keeps financing the next one. From looking at the reviews we get hit the hardest by those who worry about the proper thing to do. Let's call them uptown queens. We know who they are, they are the ones in the bar dishing everyone there and are trying to hustle free drinks. Then we have our costumer base: blue collor gays. Those are the ones who go to the bar and have a great time, and then go home with someone. The problem is they have a life and don't have time to write a review. So the losers who have nothing in there life sit at home and take it out on RAF. Well that is fine, they pay there money and can do their thing. What do we at RAF plan to do, the same as always. Richard Anthony has contraced with three new productions companys. Jason Ganrich in Tacoma, WA, Michael Haboush in Los Angles and James Townsand in Merced, CA, for two movies a year from each. They followed with Murder in Portland”, Gods of Olympia and the last one Revenge in Olympia. All of these movies take place in the Pacific Northwest with three of four in the state capital of Washington. Four films in three years is quite a feat from a independent production company. Are they of Hollywood quality, no but they are as good as any straight or gay low budget independent film company. And make no mistake these are low budget films. What make the concept work is that they are made for the DVD release. There is no pretense that these are going to a theatrical release. They release these productions on both the internet and lesbian and gay books stores. With the thousands of films released for distribution and after checking web sites, I only found a few bad reviews. And all of these reviews sounded the same. It seemed that the same person wrote all the comments. It also seemed that they all were the same type of person. Someone who with the power of the review can make a unfair statement in the community. I am guessing this is a person who never gets cruised at the bar and has had a hard time getting a date. So he goes back to his small apartment and takes it out on RAF. Everyone has the right to speak, it is some who speak with authority and others from picayune. I would expect that the first film was a learning experience for RAF. I thought the films got better and all had great stories. I learned something from each movie, the stories were original and historically correct. Remember no one made you spend the first 29.95, and if you did not like it why spend more for the other three. It seems you are not admitting you buy the movies not for the story but for the cute sex scenes. That is fine, I am sure the producers have that as part of their markenting plan. I understand Richard Anthony Films is starting a new project, by providing venture capital for new young film makers. These first films will be a works in progress and should get better with time. I am old enough to remember the only gay movie at the time was “Boy’s in the Band”. Now we have gay movies on TV, gay plays at the local community theater, and for better or worse. To all of those people who want to put down RAF put up your own $50,000 make a movie then you will have the right to criticize those who have. These are very small people in our community and do not represent the gay and lesbians I know.

Why do I get so hyped up over a movie just because it's gay? This movie is complete and utter crap. The plot is nearly non-existent, the photography is bad, and it's chock full of fillers like showing the characters just walking around. And what was that ridiculous scene in the bar? They tried too hard to hold it up with nude (yes nude) sex scenes because there's on in there with these two guys that have nothing whatsoever to do with the rest of the movie. Don't waste your money on this. If you want sex scenes buy a porno instead.
