What in the world are these bad reviews about? This movie was incredible, and if you watch gay flicks (especially if you attend gay film festivals) you will KNOW this film BY FAR exceeds the horrid low bar that most gay films barely scrape. It had a great story, with characters that actually develop. The actors were actually GREAT! They were...real. I can only guess that people who don't get a "happy ending" really end up bitter. Give these film makers a break. If this was a big budget movie, you could make these silly comments. But check out their website...this was a bare bones, shoe string budget film...that knocked it out of the park with what they did. NO ONE can say they have seen a picture like this...it's completely original. and NO ONE can say it's less than the other gay independent films out there. This was excellent work. How about supporting your community verses tearing it down! I, for one, applaud them...and if you are deciding about whether to buy this or not...DO IT!

"The M.O. of M.I." is, at its heart, a pretty clever gay thriller. Too bad this good idea is squandered on this poor production. Choppy editing, cheap production values, irritating characters and clunky dialog all erode this movie's promise, but what ultimately does it in is the awful acting, particularly by its three male leads. David Stockey fluxuates between staring blankly into the camera or overacting; Corey Schneider over-minces; and David Christopher... well, he agreed to show his bare ass, so I guess that's what got him his role as a hustler/bad performance artist. Frankly, those straight (and straight-to-video) erotic thrillers starring Shannon Tweed are better crafted films than "The M.O. of M.I."

Warning! Don't believe the other reviews of this movie.
While the concept is good and could make for a very interesting movie, the mediocre acting and all around poor flow to the story makes this movie almost unbearable.
I watched the whole thing just hoping it would get better and it did start to improve about 45 minutes in. But it wasn't enough to make this a good movie.....I would say that it is mediocre bordering on poor.
I really had high hopes for this movie and wish it had been as good as all the other reviewers said it was.
I will not be watching this one again.

Jolly good mystery. It goes to show you that an intriguing and suspenseful movie can be made on a low budget. However, you need a good script, good director and wonderful cast of actors. This film has all of the aforesaid.
One word of warning don't hate or love any of the characters too soon WAIT. There are lots of twists and turns.
