I am going to do my best not to be long winded. While the message was superb, the acting left an enormous amount to be desired. With this movie spreading the "It Gets Better" message so many years before the project took off, I feel as though the movie is a must see. I was touched by the struggles each character was faced with, yet I had a hard time not laughing at the actors themselves.

I found it hard to believe that the motel scene had both men clad in clothing if they were having sex. I would like to have seen them 'au naturel'.

I hoped that cc or sub titles were available. Merrick's accent was a deterrent.

I still watch it many times.

When I first started watching gay films after have done so many X-rated ones this was the first one I saw and it was inspirational to say the least. The main character is so well crafted, that slight up-tightness, the sexual frustration, you can just imagine him explode to a man's touch. Each character is wonderfully put together on a dream setting (some breath-taking college campus ground, looks like it is in the Northwest). This is a filmmaker's film. Thank you Jeff London for having sent me on a wonderful journey.

Never have I ever been so touched by a movie, that drew me in, and allowed me to vent while watching it...It's a movie that shows what most of society thnks about the gay lifestyle, and the ignorance that most bible thumpers have about it...Always quick to point out that God doesn't allow gays in Heaven, which I know is not true...God loves us all, and he gave his only begotten son, who died for us, and our sins...Always remember that we'll someday be with our maker, as long as we believe in Jesus, and that we are only human beings, who will continue to sin, no matter what we do, as we are not perfect...I just wish that the movie had shown a little more about the ignorance of people, who keep telling us that we are wrong, like the Dean of the college in the movie, but yet, the Dean molested Hector...They should have shown him being put before God and others, as an ignorant person...I'm glad that I had the opportunity to view this film, and recommend it for others to see, and make or form their own opinions about the gay lifestyle.

This might be one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Yet, it made me cry at a few points. The dialogue, script, direction, acting, Jesus -- everything -- is so in need of improvement, it's hard to explain how I found this movie and story compelling none the less. Make no mistake -- this is totally an amateur film. It is NOT GOOD. But it's sincere, heartful, and means to do the very best it can. I wish like hell it had been done better -- but thank God it was done at all. Nobody has the balls to mix film with gay with religion -- and these guys did. So for that, they deserve full on kudos. Anyone who thinks they can do better should man up and do so. Otherwise it's a lot of hot air. They tried to tell a story that was unique and worthwhile. They just need another decade or so of experience in filmmaking to perfect the style.
