Review

Sean McGinnis (Cunio) has been renting the classics and by error gets Citizen Cum instead of Citizen Kane. So starts a tale of sexual obsession that changes the course of Sean's life and brings great drama to the screen. The star of Citizen Cum is Johnny Rebel (Gurney) a hot "gay for pay" porn star with drug, relationship and stability problems. Sean becomes so smitten with Johnny that he applies for work at "Men of Janus" - the studio that produces the source of Sean's bliss. Sean gets a job on the set of Johnny's next film and goes beyond camerawork to perform a job that most gay men would pay to do. He becomes a fluffer who performs oral sex so that the porn performer is hard on camera. After servicing him, Sean becomes even more enamored with Johnny whose life is spiraling out of control. Johnny's girlfriend Babylon locks him out of the house and his drug use is growing exponentially. There is some nasty violence and the two guys go on a journey that will change the course of their lives. This non-sexually explicit, but very sexy, tale takes Sean and Johnny to places where only the truly obsessed would dare go!

We're talking porn people, which this film has none...if you're talking porn industry show something, please. Un-rated must mean not good enough to rate. Sadly I bought this dvd...I use it as a coaster!

A Disturbing But Realistic Look At Porn

"The Fluffer" is an unflinching look at the world of porn, of both its seamy side & its glittery, enticing side. Adorable Michael Cunio represents every person who watches porn & becomes obsessed with the alluring images on screen. Both Cunio & Roxanne Day pine after the affections of Johnny Rebel (hunky Scott Gurney), a porn star whose narcissistic, drug-addicted life keeps him beyond their reach. Chock full of cameos by many faces in the porn industry, "The Fluffer" shows the lechery, emptiness & "hot-today-gone-tomorrow" quality of the industry. Surprisingly minimally non-explicit, it nevertheless gets its point across (after all, it's co-directed & written by porn-vet Wash West). I found it sometimes difficult to watch these people's lives fall apart; however, for anyone curious about how the industry works, it's worth a look.

After watching "The Fluffer", if you want to have fun, you should see "The Hole". The actors, the story line, the scenery, the clothes, the music, the sex, the lighting ... everything just work so well together in that movie. Woof!

"The Fluffer" is a pretty good movie except the ending is a little light hearted. The characters are likeable and the lead actors are gorgeous. It's always nice to know how a porn flick is made and all the things that go on behind the scences.
