Synopsis

Review

A loosely scripted tale of two best friends (Stoltz, Sheffer) and the woman (Tilly) they both love. With Tilly sputtering her lines in confused sentences and Stoltz sighing and smoking heavily while philosophizing irrationally, Sleep with Me takes on unusual rhythms. An eclectic supporting cast and a beguilingly shy performance from Sheffer help the film to make up for its complete lack of control.

While there's no gay content, there's one scene that has already become a bit of a minor classic, and makes the film worth seeing. Check out director Quentin Tarantino in a bit role as a party guest attempting to explain Top Gun's homoeroticism. It's dead on funny (albeit a little behind-the-times - queens have known this for years!).
