Starry-eyed, small town bank teller Suzanne Fountain (Dickenson) sells her powder blue compact and moves to New York City, descending into a twisted mid-NYC-summer nights' craziness of junkies, sequined pants hunks, fags on crystal meth, drag queens that would scare even the most jaded of us and murderous club kids. After a frantic apartment search, which includes a visit to a carrot covered speed freak, she settles into her new "life" in a Lower East Side dump with Titania (Tight for short- self-styled "Queen of the Faeries" played by Philly.) Her roommates are all sober 17 years until Suzanne brings pot, booze and crank into this humble abode. In the hallway and rooftop of this half-star establishment lives speed freak rave-lette, Kathy, (Whitney,) a girl Suzanne soon comes to realize is very much like herself. Together they steal suitcases at the Port Authority, almost murder the sequined pants hunk and come down after a week of speeding the night and days away. Paced at a crystal meth r.p.m., populated with familiar underground faces, Eric Sapp of Frisk, Keith Levy a.k.a Sherry Vine(fixture of the downtown NYC drag scene), Craig Chester of Swoon and Kiss Me Guido fame, this flick is a wild, raw and fabulous improvisation.
