The brainchild of "Melrose Place" creator Darren Star, "Sex" plays like an oversexed, NC-17 hybrid of both his famous Heather Locklear bitchfest and his NYC-based flop "Central Park West," and this time he hits every mark.

Based on Candace Bushnell's best selling book, Parker (Golden Globe Winner for Best Actress) stars as Bushnell's alter-ego Carrie Bradshaw, a sex advice columnist in the Big City. Her circle of friends includes the WASPy Charlotte (Davis), power-lawyer ice-queen Miranda (Nixon) and socialite/party girl/diva/slut Samantha (Cattrall, in the role she was born to play).

Acting out like four A-list queens run amok, the girl's dialogue is sure to cause some to wince (nothing is sacred - from delivered-too-early cumshots to tampon insertion habits). If you thought the crew of "Seinfeld" were shallow and that "AbFab"'s Patsy and Edina were the nastiest creatures on Earth, you ain't seen nothing yet. Featuring more nasty and hilarious one-liners than a night at any drag queen club, addiction is entirely a possibilty here. Knowledge of New York is helpful but not a must, but you better be up on your labels, clubs, trendy restaurants and mixology (Cosmopolitans are the drink of choice for the girls).

Easily watchable over and over, this season is even better than the first and second, and would certainly bring a smile (of recognition, probably) to Patsy's stoic and well-pulled face.
