Synopsis

Toby Ross's classic Rock n Roll Dreams has been re-edited from the original footage and re-mastered. Toby's film is a sex fable with erotic dream sequences that will blow you away.

Patrick is a loner pretty boy (Tommy Strasser) who finds himself all alone on Christmas eve. He gets tipsy on a few drinks and in his anguish, he feels empowered to summon up the ghost of rock legend Gene Vincent, together they spend a romantic sensual evening together as the rock legend makes the lonely boy feel like a million bucks, an evening we can all only dream of. The school year finally starts and Patrick's social studies teacher tells the class about his days in Berkeley when free love was king. Our boy Patrick starts imagining the "Summer of Love" and then back in his dorm room he fantasizes all of the debaucheries that would be unthinkable today.

Times change, and this is what this movie is about. In class the next day, Patrick meets Adam, a guitar player on his way to an audition. Patrick fantasizes that the audition is with the infamous Phil Specter as we travel back to this eccentric's office in his heyday circa 1966. Hilariously, finally Patrick and Adam make love in a beautifully lit scene to celebrate their feelings for each other. We get erotic music videos, hysterical spoofs of famous people, romance, hot young guys and full hard frontal nude scenes in this poignant tale that will make you swoon. Surprisingly hot. Includes many new shots never before-seen.

In 1995, Toby Ross released “Rock & Roll Dreams” and now he has re-edited, re-mastered and re-released it as a Director’s Cut. The film is both romantic and sexy as it looks back at rock and roll. In four episodes we meet some very hot men who rejoice in the ways they feel about each other.
Episode one is about good looking Patrick Penny (Tommy Strasser) who is spending Christmas eve alone and this is the first time he is away from home as he prepares for his first year at college. After indulging in a few drinks, he calls to the ghost of Gene Vincent (Justin Anthony), a rock and roll singer who is his hero and they spend the evening together in sensual enjoyment. The singer makes Patrick feel great and forget that he is alone and he has an evening that dreams are made of or was it all a dream.
The start of classes and the school year and when he goes to his history class where his teacher, Josh (Josh Shafer), tells the class about how free love prevailed at Berkeley when he was growing up. Patrick gets a mental picture of what he hears and imagines the sexual freedom by thinking about his instructor and a young African American male (Sean White) making love. Here in episode two, we see how the times have changed.
As he gets ready to leave class he sees that one of his classmates has his guitar with him and they began to talk and become friends right away. Our musician, Adam (Adam Ross), is heading to audition and invites Patrick to come along to Phil Specter’s (Dave Edwards) office. Patrick sits in the waiting room as Adam and Phil, after an audition, have some very hot sex and we see what goes on through Patrick’s imagination. (Episode three).
In episode four, Patrick and Adam share a bed and are unable to keep their hands off of each other and here their lovemaking is sweet and tender as they show each other how they feel.
Not only is this a very erotic film but we get a wonderful sound track and a fun satire on the age of rock and roll. The guys are all young and good looking with beautiful bodies and I personally loved the tenderness of the film. There are some great one liners and I understand why Ross chose to bring this film back. It is both a tribute to a time that was and a really fun watching experience. As for extras, Ross includes an audition segment of guys who did not make it into the movie but are great to look at as they expose everything. There is also an extra of trailers to other Toby Ross films.
