Review

Cruise created a small sensation in his first starring role as a college-bound teenager who turns his upper-class Chicago home into a bordello while his parents are out of town.

There are plenty of laughs, and a good, youthful supporting cast - that you already know from the film's countless copycat scenarios in countless TV ads. You also probably know that the reason all Tommyboy fans dig this flick is for the two nice shots of Tom in his tighty whities: once during that obnoxious dance in the living room, the other time while doing his homework. (Must've been an awfully cold set.)

Great cinematography, and a terrific turn by "Vicki", the African American drag queen who shows up at Cruise's place before the arrival of DeMornay help make Risky quite frisky.
