For it's 20th anniversary, Catalina mysteriously changed the title of Pizza Boy: He Delivers (as it was known for eons) to the goofy/cryptic Pizza Boy: Still Delivering, as well as switching out the iconic cover shot of Steve Henson. Thank God that when Channel 1 bought the company they reverted back to the classic artwork for this classic film. The remastered DVD is an astonishing step-up from the semi-flaccid VHS tape version. The colors jump now, and you'll probably see some things you never even saw before. Remember: This was shot on film not video, so a certain amount of grain is evident. But it's a night and day difference, and is probably the best the film ever has or ever will look.

William Higgins was an innovative gay porn visionary; his films were almost all landmarks, and this is one of his masterpieces. Pizza Boy: He Delivers loses nothing in the fact that it's not new. In fact, it's only enhanced by the passing of time. The performers are all young, eager and believable. There is not a limp noodle in the bunch. (Die-hards take note: The insanely hideous back-cover "artwork" - a mock-up of a stained glass window that appears in the film - has thankfully been forever dumped.)

Maybe it's just me, but I like this old naive style and love the natural hairy pubes and hair on the butt. Hair inside the underwear is natural and sexy, I wish porn nowadays would stop having manscaping.

This iconic ode to the "pizza boy" fantasy is one of the best gay porn flicks of the 80's. Curiously, the original title (and cover shot of yummy Steve Henson) were switched out for a while; thank goodness Channel 1 Releasing restored these things, looking better than before.

The remaster is pretty good (although it's slightly dark & grainy in spots). But the "secret ingredient" here are the kick-ass sex scenes. Cute Grant Fagan shows co-worker David Ashfield his auto-fellatio talent, then later returns to get his cherry smashed by Ashfield. Italian Stallion Tony Stefano tells a fellow worker about his hot tryst with surfer-dude Brent Woods. In a scene not included in the original version, Stefano returns to "feed his pepperoni" to an appreciative Lee Mann. Cute tennis players Tim Barnes & Art Williams do their own version of "50 Love" after the match. The scene that rocks: The beautiful customer Henson "accidentally" spills wine on delivery boy Troy Ramsey's clothes, prompting a shower scene (in the grooviest bathroom you've ever seen!) that leads to a sex-hungry Ramsey tearing Henson's undies off his body (Henson: "You realize those were good underwear?" Ramsey: "So what? I've heard about you!"). These two are really into the scene, turning in good performances.

The finale has two young bucks "prank calling" several pizzas to be delivered to brother (the insatiable Michael Gere) & friend (hairy & hung Chad Johnson) next door. The delivery boy makes up for the mistake by going down on his customers (which is captured on videocam for the other boys' enjoyment). There's major oral, anal & undie-ripping (again!) in this feverish conclusion to a terrific William Higgins flick!
