Produced by Ben Gannon, co-creator of the Tony®-winning Broadway musical The Boy From Oz, this documentary features historical footage as well as interviews with Allen’s family, friends, and famous colleagues, including Carole Bayer Sager, Bernadette Peters, Lily Tomlin, and Bette Midler. It traces Allen’s rise from his native Australia to the toast of Broadway and beyond, from his marriage to Liza Minnelli to his emergence as a gay icon.
