Synopsis

Pee-wee Herman and pals are celebrating Christmas in the Playhouse in their own creative ways: Pee-wee makes a list for Santa Claus 1 1/2 miles long, teaches Little Richard how to ice skate, goes for a sleigh ride with Magic Johnson, commands Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicello to make Christmas cards, receives a long phone call from Dinah Shore, even has more musical fun with k.d. lang, the Del Rubio Triplettes and Charo! Finally, Big Red arrives and announces that Pee-wee's Christmas list was so big, he didn't have enough presents for all the children of the world. Will Pee-wee follow his own advice and help others?

OMG, we love Pee-Wee Herman and have been waiting for his comeback for a long time now! In the meantime we need to be content with these wonderful DVDs of his TV series -- cancelled when it was revealed that Pee-Wee Herman (Paul Ruebens) had a libido. This classic episode features the regular cast: Cowboy Curtis (Laurence Fishburne), Reba the Mail Lady (S. Epatha Merkerson), The most beautiful woman in the world, Miss Yvonne (Lynne Stewart), King of Cartoons (William Marshall), Ricardo (Vic Trevino ), the (must-be gay) genie Jambi (John Paragon) and Mrs. Rene (Suzanne Kent). This amazing episode crams in guest stars: Frankie Avalon, Whoopi Goldberg, Joan Rivers, Charo, Del Rubio Triplets, Annette Funicello, Magic Johnson, Dinah Shore, Grace Jones, Oprah Winfrey, k.d. lang, Little Richard, Zsa Zsa Gabor. And no one seemed to think Pee-wee might be a tad gay!!!!
