Synopsis

Diego and Sebastian are two teens who used to be friends in childhood. They reunite one summer, leading to a strong friendship while they get drunk, smoke marijuana and wander to different places looking for the meaning of life, sex and love. Diego is discovering his fascination with Sebastian, through the photographs that he takes, while he hallucinates with characters who advise him through the television or appear in the middle of a deserted beach. As the teens gradually awaken to their sexual desires, their relationship grows increasingly complicated and ultimately honest and sincere. Otra Pelicula de Amor is a tender coming of age tale exploring the universal theme of the discovery of love.

Those looking for an action packed romance with tons of sex can skip Another Movie of Love, but for those who desire a tantalizingly teasing tale centering on the increasingly intimate relationship of two handsome young men, this film was made for you. Made by and with young Chileans, this indie drama begins when former childhood friends Diego and Sebastian meet up again as teenagers. They soon resume their friendship – hanging around, smoking pot, drinking, swimming, taking pictures, exploring and talking about sex. Diego, who is more accepting of his attraction, is still afraid of making the first move despite nights sleeping with Sebastian in their underwear as well as the "accidental" touching and drunken spooning. Soon an increasingly palpable sexual attraction begins. Will love develop or are they destined to remain just friends?
