Bad hair, funky TV commercials, and a pervading sense of tricking the night fantastic are in evidence in New York City Pro, a vintage pre-condom tribute to Mr. Ford and Manhattan's good old days of sodomic sexcapades. Old Beer Commercials Stir Nostalgic Leanings

In the beginning of NYC Pro, Leo Ford, hot and blonde as always, is having a bit of foreplay with a newsvendor in a footballer's uniform. In the background, you hear radio commercials for beer. I won't mention the brands, but some of them are still sold in supermarkets today.

In this pre-condom bit of dickfoolery, Leo is a pinstriped-suit kinda guy, who fantasizes about what the men he encounters would like in a man. Lots of bodyhair abounds in this movie; none of the men use chest razors. Also not in vogue is going to the gym, the guys here aren't fat, "unsculpted" is more the word for it.

Lots of anal without lube or rubber makes this a collector's item today; but the beer commercials over the early sequence makes it worth my while. It makes me think of when I was 22, buying my first legal six-pack, not "six-pac" as in chest, but six-pack as in cans of suds.
