Review

When I first looked at and felt the KinkLab Bondage Rope I chuckled. It seemed a little more slippery than other nylon ropes. I’ve been in situations where cheap nylon slips at the wrong time which is both frustrating and dangerous. The first thing I did was tie a noose (the strongest of all knots). I slipped it around a seventy-five pound dumbbell and picked it up by the rope. No slipping, the knot held. I added another seventy-five pound dumbbell and dead lifted the pair. No slipping at 150 lbs. Impressive.

Before we used KinkLab Bondage Rope with wrist and ankle cuffs we decided to use it on bare skin. The knots we chose for this test were the running knot, and the fisherman’s eye. I applied the running knot to my ankles and wrists and then I tightened it as tight as possible to the point of cutting off my circulation. I was impressed that the rope did not leave any burns. I did the same to the person acting as my slave. The marks left were very light and disappeared in about an hour. I tied it next into a fisherman’s eye and slipped it around my neck. I forcefully rubbed it against my skin looking for burns. They were limited and gone by the next morning.

The last test was with cuffs. The rope slid easily through the eyelets and made the knotting experience easier. I used the cuffs as anchors in hog tying my slave. The rope held tight around the eyelets and I was able to do variations of the knot. The acting slave commented how pleasant the rope felt against his skin which, I guess is important. The slave also mentioned it was now his favored rope in my arsenal.
