Synopsis

Jason Preston has problems. He's stuck in a dead end job, his writing career is going nowhere fast, and he's got a porn star roommate who has the nasty habit of stealing his dates. His struggles to find happiness with love and career send him down several twisted paths; but every step of the way, he's got his friends Ken, Mike, Matt and Elliot right behind him. Complete with their own problems. After one night in a bath house, Mike and Ken find new love, Elliot discovers something about himself which leads him to bigger changes and Matt and Jason's relationship changes in ways that could have dire consequences for everyone. Jason's best friend, Cynthia Davis, has just been set up with a man who is just too perfect to be true, and he just might be. Sasha DuPre, fading Hollywood starlet, is trying to both revitalize her career and avoid prison on tax evasion charges, which leads her to work for Bill Kaslow, a sleazy film producer looking to make his first serious film. When the backing falls through, however, Bill decides to move the production in an entirely new direction. This hilarious new series chronicles the lives of these friends as they struggle with the dramas of life and love in La La Land and beyond.
