Review

One of the biggest - and most hyped - releases of 1994, Idol Country is still considered one of superstar Idol's best flicks. Looking better than he ever has, Idol displays all the assets that made him one of the most bankable (and controversial) stars in the biz. (This was shot nearly four years before he took that 4th-floor leap from his hotel.)

Known for being a prima donna this is the film in which the idol-worthy Mr. Idol finally gets down 'n dirty - that's right, Ryan eats ass onscreen here, and the ever-so-happy recipient is Steve Marks (making his debut here, lucky guy!) who loves every minute of it.

The rest of the flick features a bevy of hot, muscle studs including Marco Rossi, J.T. Sloan and the delicious (and sadly deported-back-to-Germany) Wolff. Included are some really hard-on inducing outdoor, poolside and barnyard scenarios (replete with animals wandering about in amusement) that'll stick with you for some time.

Easily one of LaRue's best, most popular and legendary films. Top-notch photography and that ever-present sneer on Idol's face make this a must own for any serious collector.

Idol gets down on the farm

What could be better than watching a shirtless yummy Ryan Idol pitch hay? This one became a big hit, arguably Idol at his best. No surprise, as it reunited Idol with porn director extraordinaire, Chi Chi LaRue.

Made before Idol's own life spun out of control, its premise seems to have a note of eerie irony: Idol plays a spoiled city boy who accepts a challenge from hunky blond Steve Marks to "rough it" out on the farm. Predictably, this changes Idol & makes him a better person. Whatever. I've only been talking about the story; let's focus on the sex scenes. The entire production is excellent. From the poolside opening between Marco Rossi & Grant Larson that's hot stuff (no wonder a dip in the pool after was needed!) to a wonderfully choreographed group/voyeurism party (note: Wolff & J.T. Sloan are steamy additions) to a Latin lover's wet dream of Rod Majors inserting his big burrito inside a happy Mike Chavez atop a tractor to the climax in which Idol rims (the lucky guy getting his licks are Marks), there's just one nut-busting scene after another.

A definite must-have for Idol fans, and overall, a good addition to your porn collection!

My favorite scene was between Rod Majors (controversial? former military man) and Mike Chavez. Rod Majors claims that he wasn't good at being gay, but he sure seemed to enjoy the sex between he and Chavez. There was definitely chemistry between the two. Marco Rossi looked great as usual, but it appeared that he was working a lot for the camera in certain parts of his scene. I wish that he hadn't become so huge of a body-builder... Tom Katt also.... hey were so gorgeous.
